The week of February 10

Tomorrow White Oak Smiles will be here for a dental presentation.

This week:

Math: Telling time on an analog clock to the hour.

Spelling words: This week we will not have any spelling words

Spelling pattern/phonics: ir,ur,er words and compound words

Writing: We should be starting our sentences with capital letters, not put random capital letter, and putting punctuation at the end of a sentence.  I have started taking off on our spelling tests and our writing.  To practice at home, have students practice writing sentences with spelling words: using good handwriting and correct structure.

Science/Social Studies: US Symbols (American Flag, The White House, bald eagle, Statue of Liberty)
